Code of Ethics

Except by act of civil disobedience or in the act of preventing harm,

Full Members of the Falconry Alliance agree to:

• Keep their birds in good health, providing for their physical and mental well-being.
• Build and maintain facilities which are appropriate for the care and safety of their raptors.
• Comply with all State and Federal laws to the best of their ability and understanding.
• Practice honesty and integrity in dealing with each other.
• Be courteous and patient with the public.
• Assist less experienced falconers as their abilities and time allows.
• Treat prey in responsible and prudent fashion.
• Act responsibly in their falconry practices, so as not to bring disgrace on the Alliance.
